The Eco Dry clothesline is very sturdy on a normal breezy day and also comes with a tethering strap to hold it down in windy weather. However, if it is very windy or if you are planning to go out, it is advisable to place the clothesline in an enclosed area, as weather conditions can change suddenly.
The strap is of ample length even at full height. Simply thread the strap in the orange plastic part underneath the top centre bar. The other side can be used on a tent hook, or simply tied to a post etc.
